Scholarships for students

Following up on the initiative launched in 2022, in partnership with IAWF, we will offer two scholarships for students to attend the 10th ICFFR & 19th IWFSS!
The scholarships will be awarded exclusively to students at any academic level to reimburse expenses. This means selected applicants must pay for travel and accommodation in advance and submit receipts for those expenses. Registration for the Conference will be completed with a free coupon.
We will select two applicants based on criteria including motivation/recommendation letters and country of origin. Preference will be given to applicants from low- and middle-income countries (listed in https://www.research4life.org/access/eligibility).
Given our fixed budget, please provide an estimate of your anticipated costs during the application phase. Please search for flights and accommodation in Coimbra, noting that the maximum amount per scholarship will be 1100€ (VAT included). The lower your estimates, the better, as we may be able to extend the scholarships to more than two people.
The conference starts on Monday, November 2nd and ends on Thursday, 5th or Friday, 6th, if you wish to participate in the field trip. We can include the field trip in the offer, if you wish. This means that you should book a hotel from 2 to 5 (no field trip) or 6 (with field trip).
