Call for papers

Authors willing to participate are encouraged to upload one or more short papers, on one of the suggested Topics, before 15 March, 2026. You can submit as many short papers as you wish. Please note that the registration fees cover the presentation of one oral communication per registered participant. Additional presentations will incur an extra fee. |
Please log in via the "Profile" menu on the left. If your email is already registered (from previous conferences), just click on "Forgot Password?". After successfully logging in, go to the "Paper submission" menu or the Home page and proceed to upload your Short Paper(s), following the instructions given.
After the reviewers' decision (30 April 2026), the revised short paper(s) must be uploaded by 30 June 2026, at the latest.
The short papers will be compiled into an open-access book, edited by the Coimbra University Press, and belonging to the ICFFR series “Advances in Forest Fire Research”. You can see the previous volumes here:

The official language of the Conference is English. All written and oral presentations must be made in this language. There will be no simultaneous translation.
